Kronus conspired with his mother Gaia to overtake the skygod. Aphrodite, sprung from the sea foam & in result of her birth, was a Goddess who was feared & revered by all other Gods. As love conquers all & no one went untouched or unaffected by her love. She is known for marrying Hephaestus but having a lover Ares. She is mother to Eros, who the Romans call Cupid & was quite cruel to the wife of Eros, trying to get her to fall in love with a pig. The Trojan war occurred as a result from her gifting Paris the prize of Helen in lieu of being given the golden apple of the Hesperides, which had the words, to the fairest upon it. Surprisingly, she never mothered a child with Zeus.

The Goddess of the harvest, nature & agriculture, Demeter is one of the original Olympians. Mother to Persephone, when her daughter was kidnapped, Demeter fell into a depression, ignoring the plant world around her. As nature died & everything turned to winter, she went into isolation from the Gods. Remarkably, she worked a year for a mortal Queen, who employed a female stand up comedian, Iambe. This comedian was able to get Demeter to laugh once more, inspiring her to continue her search. Eventually Persephone was found in the Underworld, but had eaten pomegranate seeds, forcing Persephone to return six months of the year to her now husband Hades. But when Persephone returns, Demeter’s happiness turns everything into spring. Demeter also punished King Erysicthon, who greedily cut down oak trees sacred to her, & had Limos - starvation - plague him, so he eventually ate himself. Never mess with Demeter Erinys!

Hades, God of the underworld, kidnapped Persephone, daughter of Demeter and Zeus, into the underworld and tricked her into eating pomegranate seeds, a fruit grown in Hades. Demeter, distraught for her missing child, fell into despair and nature turned cold from her neglect and became winter. After months Persephone was finally found but would forever need to return for the amount of seeds she ate in months, causing the change of the seasons every year with her mothers grief.
This soap is made with pomegranate juice for that sweet citrus & is darkened with activated sauna charcoal, for that underworld feeling. It is a great scrub, rich with cinnamon, vanilla, cedar, rose & pomegranate scents. It is a must have for anyone!

Their interaction led to the creation of the Milky Way. In the Trojan War, she sided with the Greeks & worked with Athena to undermine the Trojans. This soap is a play on her Roman name - Juno.

The August Sturgeon Moon is named after the freshwater giant & a notable time when it was once the time to fish for these. Thankfully this soap does not contain any, only in name. Made with plants found along the water's edge in tribute to this water giant themed moon. Goldenrod is good for skin rashes & eczema as well as for burns & open scrape healing. Queen Anne’s Lace has emollient, skin-softening & anti-inflammatory properties. Joe Pye Weed is an excellent way to fight eczema as it contains betulinic acid. Ground oatmeal scrubs & exfoliates those hard to reach pores. This soap is a light scrub with the oatmeal & contains no essential oils, allowing it to be sensitive skin friendly.

As love conquers all & no one went untouched or unaffected by her love. She is known for marrying Hephaestus but having a lover Ares. She is mother to Eros, who the Romans call Cupid & was quite cruel to the wife of Eros, trying to get her to fall in love with a pig. The Trojan war occurred as a result from her gifting Paris the prize of Helen in lieu of being given the golden apple of the Hesperides, which had the words, to the fairest upon it. Surprisingly, she never mothered a child with Zeus.
