Welcome to the Mountain Beauty website. Mountain Beauty is a business on a farm outside of Almonte ON. The maker uses local plants infused into oils. The plants in this photo were specifically picked & infused for a Full Moon soap - for the August Sturgeon Full Moon.

The August Sturgeon Moon is named after the freshwater giant & a notable time when it was once the time to fish for these. Thankfully this soap does not contain any, only in name.  Made with plants found along the water's edge in tribute to this water giant themed moon.  Goldenrod is good for skin rashes & eczema as well as for burns & open scrape healing.  Queen Anne’s Lace has emollient, skin-softening & anti-inflammatory properties. Joe Pye Weed is an excellent way to fight eczema as it contains betulinic acid.  Ground oatmeal scrubs & exfoliates those hard to reach pores. This soap is a light scrub with the oatmeal & contains no essential oils, allowing it to be sensitive skin friendly.
